Welcome to thesisville
I just finished a 1,853 word introduction fo my thesis, which comes out to about five and a half pages with the prescribed formatting. It is amazing to me that not so long ago that would be considered a large effort, but now it is considered a rather easy task. I have become verbose. That is probably not a good thing.
